About me

My Story

A few years back, I was in my early thirties, single again, and wondering where I was going to meet someone that I would consider "my equal." At the time, I had recently moved back to the Washington D.C. metro area, where I grew up, and realized that I was constantly in long distance relationships, regardless of where I lived. One would think that by working in the dating industry and having been out to family and friends for over 18 years, I would have an easy time meeting new eligible women and "settling myself up"... Well, that wasn't the case.
I have always been one to take risks. Since a young age, I wondered what it would be like to run my own company. I think outside the box in most challenging situations and am reluctant to take direction from past coaches and previous bosses. I am an extremely social person and am energized being around new people. I am very lucky to have people in my life that have been able to support my goals and dreams of starting my own company.
With the encouragement of family, friends and my soon to be business partners, I launched my matchmaking company in 2009. After being in business for five years and witnessing many client marriages and lasting relationships form, I decided to focus my work on coaching. My past clients appreciated the hands-on approach I took with them. Now, many are in successful long term relationships with the coaching and care I've provided for them.

Having a deep and personal connection with my clients is important to me. When I take on a new clients, I make it clear that the first relationship they are building is with me.
I am not only passionate about my professional relationships, but my personal relationships as well. Most of my friends have been in my life over ten years.
I take the same approach with my clients. They become like family to me.
I am energized every day I get to wake up and work with my clients. It is inspiring to be able to give back to the LGBT community and change lives for the better on a day to day basis.
